The Matriarchy – Chatham

June 30th Matriarchy: Spirit Stick Workshop Join local artist Mike Ondrovick to create your own spirit stick. Participants will be able to create something special that has a prayer, a mantra, or a wish embedded in the materials. Mike will teach us how to prepare our sticks and how to paint, wrap, and decorate them using use yarns, fabric scraps, threads, Sari Ribbon, and any other found objects. When completed you can hang on the wall, suspend from the ceiling, or hold in your hand.
